These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of aritanem.am and any related pages we operate (the "Site"), and your purchase and use of our products and services, including experience gift boxes, gift cards/e‑vouchers, and booking facilitation (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Site or Services, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the Site or Services.
Box / Gift Box: A physical package that includes a catalog/QR linking to a curated list of experiences. Each Box entitles the holder to book one (1) experience from its included selection.
Voucher / E‑voucher / Gift Card: A digital or physical redemption code that entitles the holder to book one (1) experience as defined by the purchased product.
Unredeemed: Not yet used to make a booking.
Redeemed: Used to secure a date/time with an experience provider.
Provider: An independent third‑party company or individual that delivers an experience.
Customer / You: The purchaser of a Box/Voucher or the holder/recipient who uses it to book.
You must be 18+ (or the age of legal capacity in your country) to purchase. Minors may attend experiences where permitted by the Provider and, where required, with a responsible adult.
If you create an account or place an order, you agree to provide accurate, current information and keep it updated.
We curate and market experiences but do not directly provide most experiences. Experiences are delivered by independent Providers who are solely responsible for their operations, staff, safety, and legal compliance.
We are not liable for acts/omissions of Providers. Your participation is subject to the Provider’s rules, capacity, and availability.
PURCHASE
All Ari Tanem products are purchased from the website aritanem.am (or our authorized sales channels) and require full payment at checkout. You will be advised of the accepted payment methods at the time of purchase. We do not accept payment by cheque or postal order, and you cannot pay in instalments. Discount codes can only be used to purchase experience and hotel getaway gift boxes and are not valid for purchasing gift cards or single experiences. Your order confirmation will be sent to the email you provided upon account registration.
PRICES
We act as a booking intermediary for independent activity Suppliers who may change their prices at any time. Prices may update automatically to match those the Supplier is offering; however, variations can occur at any time without notice. If the experience price has significantly changed compared to the value of your gift voucher or your Ari Tanem collection value, we reserve the right to request an additional payment. You may always use the value of your gift voucher for any other experience available on aritanem.am
Partner price differences. Ari Tanem works with certain activity providers and partners; there may be a difference in experience price when compared to other sites/search results offering different rates for the same or similar activity.
Price changes. Ari Tanem reserves the right to increase collection and experience prices without prior notice and will not be liable for any and all such changes.
Payment
Currency. For convenience, prices may be shown in multiple currencies; however, unless otherwise stated at checkout, all transactions are processed and charged in AMD. Your payment provider’s exchange rate/fees will apply, so the final amount charged may vary. All prices include VAT where applicable.
E‑vouchers are delivered electronically to the email/phone you provide.
Physical Boxes are shipped by courier to your address. Risk of loss transfers upon confirmed delivery by the carrier.
Delivery timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed.
Book‑by validity (global): Vouchers/Boxes must be booked within 12 months of purchase/delivery. The experience may occur after 12 months if booked on time (subject to Supplier availability).
Refund window: Ari Tanem strives to ensure every gift brings joy. However, due to the nature of our products, refund eligibility varies by product type:
Physical Gift Boxes:
Ari Tanem experience boxes are non-refundable once opened, as opening the box grants access to digital content, QR codes, and experience details.
An opened box is considered used, even if the experiences have not yet been redeemed.
If a return is exceptionally approved at Ari Tanem’s discretion, the refundable amount will be discounted by 4,000 AMD, covering delivery, packaging, and handling costs.
No refunds are provided for partially used or activated experience boxes.
Unredeemed purchases are refundable within 14 calendar days only. Refunds are processed solely to the same bank account or card used for payment. No refunds are available after 14 days, and store credit is not offered.
E-Vouchers and Gift Cards:
All Ari Tanem e-vouchers and physical gift cards are non-refundable and non-returnable once purchased. After payment and issuance, no cancellations, refunds, or exchanges are accepted under any circumstances.
Please review all product and experience details carefully before completing your purchase.
*Hotel stays (collections). Our hotel collections allow you to choose the preferred location and stay length (number of nights) within the value of the collection. All collections, including hotel collections, can be used only once per voucher.
Effective 23 September 2025, previously issued “no‑expiry” Ari Tanem vouchers/boxes receive a one‑time, free 12‑month book‑by window in Armenia. They must be booked by 23 September 2026; the experience may occur later if booked on time (subject to Provider availability). Corporate/bulk vouchers remain non‑refundable and non‑transferable once issued. Armenian law governs this clause.
Booking is subject to Provider availability, capacity, safety requirements, and operational or weather conditions.
You must arrive on time and comply with Provider rules. No‑show or ≥15 minutes late may be treated as used; no refund or rebooking is guaranteed.
After redemption, the Provider’s policy governs reschedules, late cancellations, and refunds.
If the Provider has no stated policy, our default applies: ≥72 hours before start—free reschedule/cancel (subject to availability); <72 hours—may be non‑refundable and the voucher may be marked as used.
Any approved post‑redemption refund (rare) will be returned only to the same bank account/card used for purchase once confirmed by the Provider.
If a Provider cancels (including for weather or operational reasons), your remedy is free rescheduling. Cash refunds are not guaranteed.
Neither we nor Providers are liable for delays/failures caused by events beyond reasonable control (including severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, power/network outages, or government action).
Experiences, Providers, and locations may change. If a listed experience is discontinued before redemption, you may choose an equivalent option in the same Box category at no extra cost (or pay the difference to upgrade). If the replacement is lower priced, no cash refund is due.
Treat voucher codes like cash. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, copied, guessed, or damaged vouchers/codes.
Where technically feasible, we may reissue an unredeemed voucher to the original purchaser after identity and purchase verification. We may charge a reasonable admin fee and may refuse reissue where fraud is suspected.
Vouchers/Boxes have no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash, except where required by applicable law.
Promo codes are single‑use, non‑transferable, have no cash value, and cannot be combined unless expressly allowed. We may cancel suspected fraudulent/abused codes.
Gift messages are user‑provided content (see §20).
You agree not to misuse the Site/Services, including by scraping, interfering with security, attempting unauthorized access, or reselling vouchers outside authorized channels.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations and pursue lawful remedies.
Some experiences involve physical activity or inherent risks (e.g., water sports, climbing, outdoor conditions). By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree to follow Provider instructions.
You are responsible for assessing fitness/medical suitability and obtaining any medical advice. We do not collect medical data.
For alcohol or age‑restricted activities, legal ID verification may be required by the Provider. Service may be refused if lawful ID is not presented; no refund guaranteed.
Accessibility varies by experience and venue. Please contact us before booking to check feasibility and any reasonable adjustments a Provider can offer.
Insurance is not included in any of our products.
The nature of some of the services promoted on aritanem.am can be dangerous. Before ordering or participating in any activity, you should be aware of the risks involved. Responsibility rests with you to make independent enquiries with the Supplier and other third parties as to whether you (or the participant) should acquire your own insurance coverage (e.g., personal accident, health, travel, property). Ari Tanem will not be held liable for any accidents or incidents that might occur during your activity.
Some activity Suppliers may arrange their own liability insurance, which may provide insurance for participants where the Supplier acts negligently. We advise you to review the terms of any such insurance that the activity Suppliers may provide.
The Site and its content (logos, text, graphics, videos) are owned by us or our licensors and protected by IP laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
If you submit reviews, photos, or feedback ("User Content"), you grant us a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute such content for marketing and service improvement, subject to applicable law. You represent you own/hold rights to the content and it does not infringe others’ rights or applicable law.
The Site may reference third‑party websites/services. We are not responsible for their content, terms, or policies. Your dealings with Providers and third parties are solely between you and them.
Except as expressly stated, the Site and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ari Tanem’s total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the Site/Services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific Box/Voucher giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption.
Foreseeability rule. If either party fails to comply with these Terms, neither party will be responsible for losses that the other party suffers except for those losses that are a foreseeable consequence of the failure at the time the contract was made.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ari Tanem and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site/Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third‑party right.
These Terms apply worldwide.
Prices are shown in AMD unless otherwise stated at checkout. Your bank may apply FX rates/fees for international payments.
Taxes/VAT are shown as required by the country of purchase. Cross‑border shipments may incur customs duties, import VAT, brokerage fees payable by you at delivery. Delivery times may be affected by customs.
You represent that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national/resident of any country or party subject to comprehensive sanctions/embargoes, and that you will not use the Services in violation of export control or sanctions laws.
We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We may update these Terms by posting a new date/version on the Site. Material changes will be highlighted for a reasonable period. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
If you encounter any problems or have complaints regarding your purchased product or reserved experience, please contact us at aritanem.am/contact.
For issues with a specific activity, speak to the Supplier on the day so they can resolve it in real time. Failure to raise issues on the day may jeopardise investigations and lead to an unsatisfactory outcome.
If unresolved on the day, contact us within 7 days of the experience date with your booking reference, and the name of the Supplier representative you spoke to, plus full details of your complaint.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws principles.
You agree that the courts of Armenia shall have exclusive jurisdiction and venue over disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Services, except where mandatory consumer laws give you additional rights (e.g., to sue in your place of residence).
These Terms may be provided in English and Armenian. In case of conflict, [designate controlling version: EN or HY] will prevail. Translations are provided for convenience where not controlling.
You consent to receive communications electronically (email, SMS, Site notices). Legal notices to us must be sent to the contact in §32.
